R.J. Grimshaw has spent over 25 years in equipment finance. He started in sales, was fortunate to be around amazing operators, and served as CEO from 2013 to 2023. He sat on the board of the Equipment Leasing and Finance Association (ELFA).
In 2023, he turned his full attention to AI because the pattern was clear: vendors were selling demos that collapsed the moment they touched a real credit policy. AI companies did not understand the business. Equipment finance companies did not understand AI. Someone needed to sit in the middle.
